It’s serious. Like 13 people in my mom’s family, her colon cancer has spread to her lymph glands. They’re giving her about 6 months if her chemo can’t control it. Once it’s hit the lymphatic system, it’s pretty much a death sentece because, like the circulatory system, it goes throughout one’s body. I’m sobbing! Let’s pray for her!

In order for an anti aging skin care product to be effective, it must be applied directly. Good nutrition is always important, but you should forget about the energy drinks and stick with your daily multi-vitamin.
Itâ??s still common to see anti aging skin care products that contain Aloe Vera gel, even though the cosmetic and therapeutic effectiveness is limited at best. The scientific research that has been performed using the extract is contradictory. Some say it promotes healing. Others say that wounds heal slower when aloe is applied.
On the other hand, if you want a natural anti aging skin care product, try one with honey. The best honey is Active Manuka Honey. There has been lots of research supporting the effectiveness of honey in healing wounds and supporting the overall health of the skin. Some of it has been conducted very recently.

Cancer is the name of the constellation said to resemble a crab. It is on the horizon at dawn in late June and early July, so it’s said to be the sign for that time period. It has nothing directly to do with the illness by the same name.

I’m asking this out of curiosity, not asking because I have relationship problems. My bf lost his virginity when he was 15 and we dated when we were 17. As far as I know, me and her were the only ones he’s ever slept with. We’ve been together almost 5 years, if I get checked and find out I had an STD does that most likely mean he has cheated if he’s my only partner ever? Or is it possible he could’ve caught it from when he was younger and for it to remain dormant for years?

hmm likely that he cheated yes, but there is always that slight chance that he got it from the first time and just be the carrier for the time being.

If you had known someone for a long time as just friends, and started dating them, but found out (before having sex with them) that they were infected with a mild case of genital herpes with no recurring outbreaks…would you continue dating them and just take precautions? Or would you walk away? Would you feel inclined to share the information with other people you know?

First off there is no such thing as a ‘mild’ case of herpes. You either have it or you don’t. Secondly, if you care enough about them then stay with them. Plenty of people have sex with someone who has herpes and it isn’t spread. As long as you use a condom EVERY TIME you have intercourse. No, I wouldn’t go around telling other people. It isn’t your business.

I have a friend that drinks alcohol (not the hard stuff) but he has diabetes. I don’t know what to do because I’m really close to this friend. He always reacts the worst to me out of everyone only when he drinks. I just need some help on how to deal with him and what happens to him with it? Plus how can I get him to stop drinking. Oh I should add that he drinks a 12 pack of Natural Light.

Alcohol has the ability to both increase and decrease blood sugars. In regards to the former, this is because of the high sugar content of alcoholic drinks. With respect to the latter, alcohol chronically can impair the bodies store of sugar, and is often a substitute for real food. Moreover, it can impair ones ability to recognise low blood sugars. However, in a well controlled diabetic, alcohol is not contraindicated, and should be enjoyed with the above provisos.

I had a single blister on the front of my hip a couple years ago and I’m just curious. It was completely painless. Also, I think that herpes blisters usually appear in clusters but can they also appear as single blisters?

herpes blisters can appear in a cluster or just one, usually the first outbreak is the worst, resulting in a cluster of extremely painful blisters, and as time goes on they get less painful and less frequent. It really all depends on the person’s ability to control the virus, so everyone reacts to it different. but to answer your question, they can be painless, some people don’t even know they have it and mistake a blister for an ingrown hair or a rash, and some people have blisters so painful it is hard to sit down.

Herpes blisters are painful until they scab over and heal. Under no circumstances should they be squeezed, since that spreads the virus around. The condition should be treated by a doctor since it’s contageous.

Doctor Sadwick, a Manhattan dermatologist, wrote an article published in The Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. The article stated that though the exact mode of action was still unclear, it was believed that phototherapy destroyed propionibacterium acnes, the slow-growing bacteria linked to acne. Patients in his study used Omnilux Clear-U blue- and red-light therapies. Eight weeks after a month-long treatment course, Sadick said, acne lesions were reduced by 69 per cent.
The FDA approved blue light therapy for acne in August 2002.
