Hi, I use to have what you have in teenage life too.
I do consult doctor but did not really make it better.
Then i try taking indonesian JAMU which sold in indonesian/ malay shops for healing the skin .
They really cheap & good. The JAMU (herbs pills) help to control your internal problem. You can also get the powder & cream from the JAMU SHOPS to help the external.
Ask the uncles selling at Joo Chiat Complex, Singapore.

Bothered by Acne Scars? Modern Laser Therapies are Greatly Improving People’s Skin

Acne the variety of skin disease which induces bad spots. Zits form whenever strands of hair under your skin clog up. Nearly all pimples form on the face, neck, rear, upper body and shoulder blades. Any individual may get acne, but it’s widespread in young adults and also over 16. It is not really serious, yet it may cause scar issues.
Bothered by Acne Scars? Modern Laser Therapies are Greatly Improving People’s Skin
The Causes of Acne
Acne is a common condition that affects almost everyone at some point in life. Acne also affects over 20 percent of all adults. Everyone knows what acne looks like and people who suffer with acne sometimes lead a life of low self-esteem. Poorly controlled acne can lead to both physical and emotional scars.
The real cause of acne is complex. A major component is the presence of bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) which reside in hair follicles. The face is actually covered by a bunch of microscopic hair follicles that we cannot see and do not produce hair.
When P. acne gets into these hair follicles, several different things can happen and people for unknown reasons respond differently. The main event is follicular plugging which leads to the subsequent formation of comedones. This in turn leads to the stimulation of sebaceous glands to produce excess sebum. Inflammation soon follows, causing the big, red inflamed pimples and deeper painful cysts.
How acne scars are formed
When the body has a vigorous response—almost inappropriately strong–to the acne bacteria, this can lead to a lot of inflammation. Intense inflammation over time cause scarring. Some people are more prone to scarring than others. Some patients with intense inflammation can end up with significant disfiguring scars.
The types of acne scars
There are different kinds of acne scars: ice pick, atrophic, and hypertrophic. Ice pick scars are deep pitted scars with steep edges. Atrophic scars are pitted but have smooth borders and are not as deep. Hypertrophic scars, more common on the back and chest, are thick, lumpy scars that sit above the surface of the skin.
Treating acne scars
In the past, the main treatment options for acne scars included dermabrasion, laser therapy and deep chemical peels. However these therapies did not always produce consistent results. While many times they did lead to considerable improvements, they also had significant risks.. Many patients experienced dyspigmentation (prolonged white or dark areas) and scarring from these procedures, which made them less popular options.
With laser treatments, the main instrument used to treat acne scars in the past was the CO2 laser which essentially removed the entire epidermis and part of the dermis. While many patients had dramatic results, other experiences significant side effects. These side effects included diffuse lighter skin and some patients even got scars from the procedure—especially around the eyes. This laser was also only safe in fair skinned patients and could not be used on patients with darker complexions.
The latest improved laser procedures
The latest procedures for acne scars are the so called “fractional ” laser treatments. Compared with traditional CO2 laser resurfacing, these lasers only treat a “fraction ” of the skin at a time, leaving the surrounding area intact for faster healing. This vastly reduces the incidence of side effects and has given us the ability to treat all skin types.
There are two different excellent options now available for acne scars. One is called the fractional CO2 laser and the other is the fractional Erbium laser.. Both can treat all skin types, are reliable and have few side effects.
How the new lasers work
Both the Erbium and CO2 fractional lasers poke microscopic holes in the skin down past the epidermis and into the dermis. These holes cause new collagen to be generated which fills in the acne scars and creates rejuvenated smoother skin.
The Erbium fractional laser (of which the most popular laser in this class is the Fraxel Re:store laser) causes one to two days of redness and swelling and requires around four total treatments. But you can still go to work if you want to.
The fractional CO2 laser (the most popular laser in this class are the Fraxel Re:pair and the Mixto laser) causes a wound in the skin which means you can’t work for about three to four days You probably don’t want to schedule a blind date right after this procedure! Only one to two treatments are required with this laser.
Which laser treatment you choose is really based on how fast you want your scars to improve and how much downtime your schedule can tolerate.
The good news about laser therapy
Both these lasers are excellent and you can expect significant improvement. Most patients report about 50 to 75 percent improvement after the recommended treatment course is completed and patients of all ages and skin types can be good candidates.
Side effects of laser therapy
While laser procedures are safer than they used to be there are still risks. The main risks are still temporary or long-lasting white or brown spots from treatment. Very rarely scarring can still result. For these reasons it is important to be treated by an experienced laser surgeon.
Consult the right doctor
Acne can be disfiguring and it can greatly affect your social life. But there’s no need to suffer with modern treatments. Consult a board certified dermatologist to determine which treatment is right for you. That way, you can erase unsightly acne scars, have great-looking skin, and get on with your life.

Via www.dermtv.com – Facial redness and red facial blotches (eg, broken capillaries) are a common skincare issue. While many products claim to remove them, there is only one real cure. Dr. Schultz will explain why available products aren’t suitable and what procedure is. Transcript People with red blotches or broken blood vessels on their face are frustrated by their inability to find effective skin care products to help them with their problem. Here are the treatment choices: First and easiest is make-up. Green tinted foundation most effectively helps hide the red because green is opposite red in the color wheel (ie, they neutralize each other). Second are caffeine-containing products that are advertised to help reduce the size of blood vessels. If you constrict the blood vessels you will squeeze some blood out and there will be less red in the skin. The reality, though, is caffeine containing products usually work better to relieve the signs of Rosacea because of their anti-inflammatory powers than they do to really get the red out of your skin. Next are topical cortisone products which constrict the blood vessels very well and get the red out very effectively. However, the problem is you can not use them on an on-going basis. If you use them for too long after they have temporarily helped the redness, they will actually break the capillaries, cause more redness and thin the skin. So this isn’t an option. Lastly and the only thing that really works is laser treatments …
The Skinny On Acne Scars And Their Treatment

No person understands just what exactly leads to acne. Bodily chemical variations, such as all those throughout the teenage years and also being pregnant, quite possibly be the cause. There are numerous misconceptions in what leads to acne. Cake and also oily food are often held responsible, however, there is hardly any proof the fact that food have very much impact on acne in many people. Stress doesn’t cause acne, although anxiety may worsen it.

The Skinny On Acne Scars And Their Treatment
Even though you’ve gotten rid of your acne, scars become a second problem. Moreover, if acne is not treated properly, it can come back and you become prone to more acne scars. Scars are actually the result of an impaired healing process in the skin. The good news is there’s definitely a way to get rid of acne scars.
The main goals of an anti-scar treatment should be to reduce skin irritation, reduce inflammation, promote healthy healing in the skin, exfoliate rough and broken skin, and sooth the skin. Infections from bacteria, viruses and fungi can irritate the skin and therefore impair its ability to heal properly, thus the result of scars. Inflammation causes oils and bacteria to rupture and cause scarring.
Many products contain ingredients that may help acne scars. However, if the skin doesn’t absorb them easily, they become ineffective. Products like the ZENMED Scar and Hyperpigmentation Treatment Kit contain naturally based ingredients that can easily be absorbed by the skin. The kit’s Skin Eraser topical treatment absorb into broken skin and repair tissue underneath. This way, scars are eliminated effectively, along with other skin conditions such as melasma and discoloration.
There are many other ways to treat acne scars. You may apply topical treatments, but exfoliation is just as important. Exfoliate at least once a week. If you just keep on applying topical treatments, they won’t be able to slough off dead skin cells effectively. When dead skin cells accumulate on your skin, your skin pores become clogged. As a result, redness and inflammation occurs and your skin becomes highly susceptible to scarring.
For effective sloughing of dead skin cells, use skin care systems or kits. What’s great about skin care systems is they contain cleansing and exfoliating properties that work together to effectively treat and prevent acne scars. The Scar and Hyperpigmentation Treatment Kit also contains an exfoliating product called the Microdermabrasion Complex. This product has micro-spheres that eliminates dead skin cells without the irritation.
The problem with a lot of exfoliating products is that they have large beads, which can do more harm than good to the skin. What is special about the Microdermabrasion Complex is not only does it give your skin a clearer complexion, but also allows the Skin Eraser to absorb deeper into the skin. This makes the kit effective on both old and new scars.
Using these types of products can dramatically change your complexion from dull (due to discoloration from scarring) to smooth and radiant. However, preventive measures should also be taken alongside the use of these products to ensure the health of your skin. One of the best ways to prevent future acne scars is by making lifestyle changes. You can start eating more fruits and vegetables, taking in more fiber, drinking enough water, and exercising regularly.
The skin is a quite complex system. When treating acne scars, make sure you not only reduce the appearance of scars, but also treat what lies underneath to prevent future scarring.

Chocolate and fried foods and nutrients are sometimes attributed, but there’s little substantiation the fact that foods and nutrients have a good deal effect on acne for most folks. Teen-age Acne Scars Can Become Ancient History
A trip to an exclusive spa or into a surgical suite isn’t necessarily the best option for the 20 million Americans afflicted with acne scars to have them removed and a clear, healthy complexion restored. Increasing numbers of people are choosing a combination treatment at home using natural ingredients and costing a fraction of the amount a spa or laser surgeon would charge.
The numbers are staggering. Acne is one of the most widespread skin diseases, according to the American Dermatological Association, although the infection is not contagious. About eight out of ten teenagers are likely to experience acne outbreaks, and 25% of them will suffer permanent scars. Nevertheless, only one-in-ten acne sufferers seek medical advice or treatment to alleviate the socially stigmatizing condition.
Whether the reasons offered for evading treatment are cost, shyness, or inconvenience, today’s advances in medicine have removed those barriers so anyone can have access to proven scar removal treatment.
The Zenmed Scar and Hyperpigmentation Treatment has been demonstrated to be very effective at removing acne dark spots and, and in erasing sun freckles, spots caused by hormonal changes or skin ailments and aging.
The Scar and Hyperpigmentation Treatment from Zenmed utilizes a two-stage strategy in revitalizing face and body areas from a scarred, unhealthy appearance to a radiant vital glow:
• First, the MicroDermabrasion Complex – This is the latest advance in exfoliation technology. Small micro-spheres in the preparation gently rub off the top layer of skin. The product is applied with a circular fingertip motion on clean skin while counting to ten, rubbing-in the exfoliant before rinsing off in cool water.
The microdermabrasion scrub produces a clean, shiny feeling in the skin, and opens the pores so the second phase of the treatment can penetrate more deeply. The exfoliant is specifically suggested for those with deep, old scarsfor which extra care is needed in removal, but it is just as effective on fresh scars or acne scars. Nevertheless, the exfoliant is recommended not to be used on open sores such as active acne or on breaks in the skin. And it is important to use an SPF 30 or greater sunscreen after exfoliation.
• The Skin Eraser – A topically-applied light cream based on natural ingredients which penetrate damaged skin in order to rebuild the underlying tissue from the inside out. Typically after 3-5 weeks of consistent use, a glowing, healthy skin is the result, minus scars, melasma or discoloration.
The cream is applied in a thin layer on the treatment area once or twice a day. Skin of any type or color shade is amenable to treatment by both products, which are also non-comedogenic, meaning non-pore clogging. The product contain no harsh chemicals to produce fragrance or color, but rather are a combination of all natural and active ingredients.
The Zenmed products are made in the USA under stringent FDA manufacturing guidelines adhering to all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements. All active ingredients are tested by independent laboratories to ensure the highest quality.
Zenmed customers are enthusiastic about the acne scar removel treatment:
• “Acne left behind some pits on my face. I noticed the results from the Scar Treatment Kit right away, and my skin looks a thousand times better.”
• “Years fighting acne had left behindsome pretty nasty scars. Looking for something that wouldn’t cost hundreds of dollars, I purchased the Scar Treatment Kit. In three weeks the scars started to fade away, and six months later my skin is smooth and soft. I’m told I look a lot younger than my real age.”
• “My skin was covered with scars until I found this treatment. Clear smooth skin is what I’ve always wanted.”
