How can I get rid of my bad acne? I am 20 years old and it keeps getting worse as I get older!?
Acne is a type of skin complaint that causes pimples. Bad spots develop whenever the hair follicles beneath your pores and skin clog up. The majority of pimples appear on the face, the neck and throat, rear, torso and also shoulder blades. Any individual could get acne, but it is widespread in teens and adults. It isn’t really serious, though it can cause scarring.
Question by BNM: How can I get rid of my bad acne? I am 20 years old and it keeps getting worse as I get older!?
I can’t afford to go to a dermatologist. Are there any OTC things that actually work? I have tried a few already with no help. And I have some acne on my shoulders, chest, and back but not as bad as on my forehead.

Try Proactive Solution. It may make your acne a little worse at first, but I promise you it will work it you stick to it. You should start seeing clearer skin in a month. It’s the best OTC stuff in my opinion.

the first thing you have to do is make sure to wash your face at least once a day. it’ll start the process of the getting rid of the oil in your pores. try not to put any make up or products like mosturizers. the best thing to do is instead of going to a dermatologist go to a family doctor, they could easily give u a prescripture.

Hi NoNamer,
I can totally relate to your problem. I have had acne since I was 14 yrs.old and I am now 34 and still get the occasional breakout. I have run the mill on OTC’s and doctor prescribed medicine and to no avail, I still have acne. The prescription med. really works but the downside is peeling, red, sensitive skin. Then you have to apply a sunblock over top of that , so you can imagine the discomfort. I have seen the commercial on tv for years and thought that it was all just hype but the ProActiv Solutions stuff really works. I have used it for about a year now and my skin has evened out. I noticed that I only get a few pimples around that time of the month. The stuff really works. The only thing is that you have to use it as instructed and sad to say but if you want to keep the acne at bay, you have to use it for the rest of your life. I stopped using it for a couple of weeks thinking that my acne was cured, but it came back with a vengeance. Overall I would rate this a 4 out of 5 on a scale of 5 being the best product that actually shows results. Go ahead and give it a try and Good Luck to you.
