I was just wandering. I’m going for my first consultation in a week & it will be pointless for me to go & pay 500.00 just to be told I can’t have the augmentation. Thanks?

Why would you have to pay 500 dollars just to see if you’re qualified for getting breast implants?
I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to, but they will tell you everything you need to know.

I had breast augmentation done recently due to the fact I was born with polands syndrome ie my left breast was flat while I had a large full C cup on the right. I am a large D almost dd now but I have gained weight over the past year due to hormonal pills,and other medical things I will not disclose. I want to lose weight now but being the left side is an implant and my right side is 98 percent natural I fear if I lose weight, My left side is going to be larger than the right since the right has natural breast tissue while the left is fake. Is their any way around this or am I stuck with a catch 22 of either stay overweight and keep somewhat symmetrical breasts, or lose the weight and be deformed again

jogg a mile everyday or to take something slower try dancing that help too. any type of sport or some hobbies.

That’s BIG!! You might want to wait until the swelling goes down and until you can actually wear a bra then you can go and get fitted, but you are prob a DD

I had breast implants one year ago. The right breast is lower than the left. At first, my surgeon told me that the left breast hadn’t “dropped” yet. So I left it at that. But one year later, I’m looking more carefully and I think she dug the pocket too far down on the right breast, that’s why it’s much lower than the left one. Also, my scar was put in the “crease” of the breast. My left breast scar is not visible, because it’s right in the crease. On my right breast though, you can SEE the scar, which makes me think my pocked was dug too far down. If you take the skin on the bottom of the right breast and push it up to be level with the skin on the bottom of the left breast, the breast is in perfect position and the scar is not visible, it’s in the crease where it belongs. Did my surgeon dig too far down, is that why my right breast is lower? And most importantly, can this be fixed?

Yes, it could be possible that she dug the pocket too low but I would recommend getting another opinion from a Plastic Surgeon that does not share the same office of the one you saw to see what they say.

Ive read the recovery things, know I can’t lift my arms over my head for a week and all that stuff, jw how many days after I should have someone around to help out with my son? And any other recovery tips. Thanks!

You should try to get someone to help around the house for at least a week. Recovering from major surgery can be trying and you need someone to both take care of your needs and take care of your child. Also, before you go in for surgery, try to organize your kitchen, do any cleaning that may need to be done and stock up – you are going to be tired as hell after surgery and most breast augmentations are outpatient.

For a while I’ve been trying to figure out how bust sizes are determined, but I think I’ve been looking in the wrong places. I’ve decided to take my quest to plastic surgeons, because they work in this field. Specifically those who do breast augmentation.
How do breast augmentation surgeons (or anyone involved with breat augmentation) determine the cup sizes? If someone came in asking for a 36C cup augmentation, how would you know what it looked like? If someone came in with a picture of how they want them to look, would you be able to name it?
EDIT: Romantic Angel, what I’m trying to figure out is, how do surgeons determine what the bra size is? Sure they can tell what a person’s current bra size is, but if a person walks in with a 30AA and wants to be upgraded to a 36C, how do they know how big to make them? If someone comes in with a picture of how big they want their breasts to be, can they name what the size is? What is true the scale for breast augmentation?
EDIT: Renee gives a good example, but I guess what I’m asking is, what is the exact difference between one size and the other?
If a surgeon has both C and D sized implants, what is the exact measured difference between them?
I know one is bigger than the other, I just want to know how thye’re measured. How are you able to name one size of breast/implant?
EDIT: AAnonymous Baby, are you saying that surgeons don’t know the measured difference between breast sizes?

From watching those E! channel that have dr beverly hills..??yeah from watching that E! channel….i think the bust sizes are determined by bra size….they already have silicon in all the sizes that would fit right according to the bra size….

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I had asymetrical breast and had an implant put in my left breast to correct the problem. I had my augmentation done in May of 2003 and had a second surgery in March of 2004 to correct the “CC”. I believe I have it again.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had “CC” after augmentation and what you did for it? How many times did you have it?

sorry, i never got it, but i feel for you. I am sorry that you are having this re-occuring problem. I believe you should contact your surgeon and have him check it out. As you know, this is nothing to play with. Good luck!

I’m very interested in having breast augmentation done. I’d like to research surgeons in my area to find out the best one to go to. I’d like to read feedback, ratings, and see photos from women that have already undergone surgery from various surgeons in the area.
Does anyone know where I might find this information? I’m aware that the surgeons have their own websites with before/after photos, etc., but I was looking for feedback from a source other than the surgeon himself.
I’m not really sure where to start my search. I’d like to have the surgery done in the near future and don’t know how to go about picking the right surgeon.
Any ideas? Thank you very much!
“try google seraching” doesnt’ help. Please be more specific and tell me how I should search for it (i.e., which words to type into the serach engine). Believe me, I’ve already tried searching for various things, but can’t find feedback/ratings from women that have already undergone surgery.
