Question by Princess L: Any home remedies for pyoderma faciale?
I was diagnosed with rosaeca but this is different. Not pustules, just big red cystic bumps in a cluster that never pop, and last for 6 months straight (pyoderma faciale). Anti’s don’t help, acne meds don’t help, and topical anti’s for rosaeca dont help. Zeno zit zapper doesn’t either. Any advice from anyone else that has this. Cortaid calms the redness down, but the bumps still remain and it has become quite disfiguring. thanks

I have the same problem. I went to my dermotologist and she diagnosed me with this. Its only in my chin area and they hurt so bad. She prescribed me some antibotics and it helped for awhile but it would return. The only remedy that worked for me was my diet. I realized when I stopped eating cheese and fried foods, it disappeared. I recently had some cheese last week and guess what? The next morning, the faciale returned. Try adjusting your diet and see if that works.

Q&A: Acne Hyperpigmentation help?
Feb 16th
No one has found out precisely what results in acne. Lifestyle changes, such as some of those while in the teenage years and maternity, quite likely be the cause. There are various common myths by what triggers acne. Chocolate and also fried foods may be attributed, but there’s little evidence the fact that your foods have much effect on acne in most individuals. Another popular misconception is that often dirty skin results in acne. Nonetheless, whiteheads as well as bad spots usually aren’t attributable to dirt. Strain doesn’t result in acne, however tension can certainly worsen it.
Question by For Fun: Acne Hyperpigmentation help?
I am in my 30s and get lots of adult acne. I have been getting facials lately and it seems to have helped with acne. however, due to immense extractions i have a lot of hyperpigmentation now. can someone suggest a tested and tried remedy to get rid of this pigmentation. hopefully i can get a little better by the holidays
. do you think i should avoid extractions to avoid this pogmentation.

Answer by RetroGirl
Since you say you are getting facials, I assume you are seeing an esthetician, not a doctor. You should take the money you are spending on that and see a dermatologist. He can treat your acne and also advise you about the hyperpigmentation. Extractions are not necessarily the best treatment.

How to get rid of cystic acne?
Feb 16th
No person is aware precisely what triggers acne. Bodily chemical adjustments, like all those for the period of teenage and maternity, quite possibly are likely involved. There are plenty of misguided beliefs in what causes acne. Delicious chocolates and even oily food items tend to be held responsible, there is however hardly any verification the fact that foodstuffs have got a lot effect on acne for most folks. One other well-known belief is the fact that dirty skin may cause acne. But, whiteheads and zits are generally not brought on by dirt. Strain will not trigger acne, but tension can certainly make it worse.
Question by lisa: How to get rid of cystic acne?
I am 19 and I have cystic acne on my neck…..is there any other way to get rid of them? I have heard that Birth Control will help, but Im worried about taking them…is there any alternative?

Eat healthy. Diets rich in protein and fiber can help reduce adult cystic acne outbreaks. Fresh fruits and vegetables are also an important part of a healthy diet. When using oils, stick to healthier options like canola and olive oil.
Exercise regularly. Sweating helps the body eliminate toxins, which can help treat adult cystic acne.
Use tea tree oil. Tea tree oil has proven as effective as benzoyl peroxide treatments. Apply with a cottonball to the affected areas before going to bed and rinse off in the morning. Be sure to treat skin every day to keep the acne at bay.
Make a turmeric paste. Mix tumeric with sesame oil to make a paste, mix with honey, neem leaves or sandalwood. Apply to affected areas.
Apply lemon juice as an astringent. After washing your face, apply the lemon juice to acne with a cottonball and leave it on your face overnight and wash off in the morning.

Q&A: Acne face cream and washing my face later–negating the effects?
Feb 16th
Acne is a quite widespread skin disorder that triggers zits. Pimples develop whenever strands of hair beneath your skin clog up. Nearly all zits appear around the face, neck, back, upper body and shoulder blades. Everyone could possibly get acne, but it is usual in young people and over 16. It is far from really serious, although there may be scar problems.
Question by Anonymous: Acne face cream and washing my face later–negating the effects?
So, in the morning after I take my shower, I dry off then put on my acne face cream that the dermatologist prescribed. But I workout in the afternoon (4-5 hours later) and I usually take a shower after since I get all sweaty and gross. Am I washing off my acne face cream when I take that shower in the afternoon? Like am I just negating the acne cream of it doing its job? Or is 4-5 hours later enough time for it to not matter.
Thanks

No, you should be OK. If you only apply it once a day then you could try applying it after your 2nd shower so that it’s on all night too.
Your “once a day” doesn’t have to be in the morning.

Why do I only break out here? I dont have problems anywhere else on my face. I’m in my early 20′s. What can I do to help? Thanks!

Answer by Debaser
maybe you are touching your chin and not knowing it. if you touch your face, it’ll give you pimples so maybe you are not knowingly touching your chin. also dont pop your zits(unless you can see the puss inside). just leave your face alone and wash it couple times a day.
above all, dont pop or touch your face.

The majority zits form on the face, the neck and throat, rear, chest and also back. Everyone could get acne, but it’s widespread in young adults and young adults. It’s not absolutely serious, yet there may be scars.
Question by Dalighieri: Getting rid of acne (exhausted almost every avenue)?
Hey all,
I’ve tried all of the topical solutions for acne (including Proactiv for about 2-3 years), I tried tetracycline in high school and now I’m in graduate school–completed about 4 months of regular twice-daily doses of erythromycin and the progress finally wore off.
While I do have breakouts on my face from time to time, the worst are my shoulders, back and chest. I wouldn’t consider them severe by comparison to other cases but it’s still there and embarrassing if I want to go swimming or such.
Does anyone have any good suggestions? I’m hesitant to ask for accutane because of all the health risks associated with it… but I want to get this acne gone now and forever.

How to Make Dr Oz’s Aspirin & Lemon Juice Skin Home Remedy
Instructions:
Doctor Oz said that this Flawless Skin Home Remedy is a great way to clear your complexion. The aspirin has salicylic acid which helps to remove acne and pimples since it is like a chemical peel. The lemon juice has vitamin C and helps minimize sun damage to your skin. Baking soda works great at the end to neutralize the salicylic acid.
1. Mash up 6-12 non-coated aspirins and combine with freshly squeeze lemon juice.
2. Let the aspirin dissolve until it turns into a paste.
3. Apply the mask to your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes.
4. Remove the face mask by dipping a cotton round in some baking soda and some water
I have used another remedy at home, It just a cotton ball and peroxide. If you want to make your own , save an old Stridex pad container and buy the little cotton circles and leave the peroxide in there. Works great and much cheaper than prescriptions.

Product made with sex in mind?

No one is aware exactly what results in acne. Hormone changes, such as all those going through teenage and also maternity, most likely may play a role. There are lots of beliefs with what results in acne. Chocolate and fried foods may be ascribed, there is, however, very little evidence in which foods have got a lot effect on acne for most people today. Question by : Product made with sex in mind?
So I was watching a commercial of this acne medication thing called the Zeno Heat Treat. You can see a picture of it here: http://secure.myzeno.com/images/products…
The commercial reveals that this tool vibrates. Since this is for a condition of the skin which mostly teen girls suffer from (meaning a time in life when sexual hormones are raging), and this product looks to be a perfect fit, and it vibrates.. is it possible that the creators had this all planned out?
I mean, teen girls would rather buy a product for masturbation that appears to be used for something else rather than have an embarrassing encounter at a sex store for something that does the same thing. I’ve heard tons of girls use hairbrush handles and stuff, they must have thought about this when creating this design. They might have done this knowing it would make them more money. This commercial described this product as being “you’re everyday secret weapon”….
Sorry this isn’t too much of a question really, but I just saw this commercial and was thinking about it and can’t really talk about it anywhere else. I’m not gay enough to have my own blog and if I posted it on Facebook my grandma would prolly die. But I’ll still give 10 points to someone if anyone has anything cool to say on the topic. Thanks.

I honostly agree after reading everything you’ve just pointed out. I also think the “Shake Weight” was designed with sex in mind also. How else would you know that the “Shake Weight” builds good arm muscle or whatever unless you’ve done that repetitive motion before. LMAO!!!
