First one said it’s rosacea…that was a year ago and like $ 200 worth of medications (even with my insurance paying for most of it – $ 200 was my copay!)…I stopped that right away…I know my neck acne has to be folliculitis, it is big nodules and small little bumps that I pick at constantly and form scabs and dry up, then I pick them again and they bleed…they’re not pus-filled… any ideas? This money-monger new schmuck won’t admit it’s folliculitis – lemme email u a pic of it please someone… I just want to know!

Question by tamisue: 40 years old with acne…?
I just turned 40 (which was bad enough) but it seems as if the acne I have had on and off all my life is getting worse. I have large pores and very oily skin, so I want to control not only the acne, but at this stage in my life I am concerned about wrinkles too. Fortunately, as far as wrinkles go, I only have a few light ones around my eyes and my skin looks great for someone my age (except for the acne of course). I had been using the Mary Kay TimeWise line for the past few years which I loved, but I am considering switching to something that will help with my acne. Does anyone have any suggestions on a line of products I can use that will help control my breakouts/oil while at the same time be kind to my face that will soon enough have lines/age problems in addition to the acne? Am I asking for too much ( a product that addresses both issues)? I have heard good things about the Clinique 3-step system for acne and was thinking of trying it. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Yikes! thats a tough one to get rid of overnight! If you live near any asian stores….you can try that one ointment called “tigers balm”. My friend told me about it and I tried it out and my zit shrank half its size the next day. Put a good amount on it and rub it until the color dissappears. It has this really minty smell to it. Its used for muscle pain, etc. Doesnt hurt to try. What may work for some may not work for others. But give it a shot!
Tigers Balm comes in this small round RED TIN thats the size of a quarter. Looks like a cap screwed onto of another cap with the ointment inside of it.
P.S: Ive ONLY tried it on single zits or single pimples. Not ACNE. I dont suggest rubbing it all around your face. Just try it on ONE AREA. NOT NEAR YOUR EYES!
hope it helps..

Question by Karie: Are their any pills that I can use in my acne regimen that would make it clear up faster? ?
I am looking for a natural pill; one that would be the ‘nail in the coffin’ for my acne treatment. But, I don’t want something that will dry out my skin since my family has a history of dry skin. I have been thinking about biodermazen, seven day acne detox, or something else.
